The Rastenbachklamm walk
Waterfalls and water pools, ivy-covered trees, a babbling brook and logs swathed in vegetation: the Rastenbachklamm gorge is a spectacular natural sight. Discover it on the pleasant itinerary that leads from our farm towards the locality of Altenburg, above Kaltern.
To the Mendel pass
Take the Mendelbahn funicular, which is only 50 metres away from our farm, and reach the top of the local mountain. From there, you can set off to explore the Mendel area on foot or by bike. It’s the ideal tour on a hot summer day, and the funicular trip is free for WinePass holders.
Cycling around the Kalterersee lake
The hilly landscape around the Kalterersee lake is perfect for both leisurely and challenging bike tours, for example along the path across the vineyards to the Montigglersee lakes or up to the Mendel pass and on up Mt. Roen. You also have the option to hire electric bikes on site. To make things even easier, we have a lockable bike depot and a charging station for electric bikes at Babioshof.
